Diploma in Digital Marketing(Mandarin)

Module Synopses

This course carries a total of five modules that the students must undertake to attain their diploma. Listed below are the module synopses:

  • Microeconomics

This module introduces students to the framework that economists use to analyze choices made by individuals in response to incentives and consider how these choices can also serve the social interest, the models of how individuals and firms interact within markets the law of supply and demand.

  • Business Statistics

This module provides students with an understanding of the data and its relevance in business and develops an understanding of the quantitative techniques from statistics. Students are aimed to develop the ability to interpret the numerical information that forms the basis of decision-making in a business context.

  • Digital Marketing and Customer Relationship

This module introduces the importance of CRM in Digital Marketing Strategies, students will learn how to collect simple data on the customer by using digital marketing models, processes, frameworks to analyze and personalize the digital campaign, to develop marketing strategies.

  • Social Media Marketing

This module provides students with methods of creating a comprehensive social media marketing plan, with detailed explanations and illustrations from a real-world plan to construct social media strategies that achieve desired marketing goals.

  • Consumer Behaviour

This module introduced the theoretical and conceptual knowledge of consumer behavior in every stage of the consumer decision-making process, and its management implications, drawing heavily on both psychological and sociological, and cultural viewpoints.

Entry Requirements:

Students need to meet at least one of the following academic requirements:

  • Obtained at least 5 GCE O level passes or high school

  • Having a minimum of 9 years of formal education with at least 5 years of working experience will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • If the student doesn’t have the above qualifications, he/she must complete and obtain the Certificate in Business Fundamental of Chasewells Management College.

Age Level

Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of application.

Language Requirements

Students need to meet at least one of the following language requirements:

  • English proficiency may not be required if the applicant possesses the highest qualification where English was the sole medium of instruction

  • Students should have at least an English competency of IELTS 4.5 or a pass in GCE ‘O’ Level English or equivalent;

  • Pass the English language placement test in Chasewells Management College.

Course Duration: 6 months

Course Mode: Part-Time

Assessment:

Students are assessed on a major assignment, class attendance, and written examination. Students are requested to pass a minimum score of 50% from the overall assessment of each module.

Academic Award

Students must pass all modules to complete the course successfully and to be awarded a Diploma in Digital Marketing by Chasewells Management College.
