Diploma in Logistics Management (Mandarin)

Module Synopses

This course carries a total of five modules that the students must undertake to attain their diploma. Listed below are the module synopses:

  • Principles of Management

This module is a comprehensive introductory module on the management process from a manager’s perspective, the processes of management. Students will understand the fundamental roles and processes of planning, leading, organizing, and controlling that comprise the managers’ role.

  • Digital Marketing and Customer Relationship

This module introduces the importance of CRM in Digital Marketing Strategies, students will learn how to collect simple data on the customer by using digital marketing models, processes, frameworks to analyze and personalize the digital campaign, to develop marketing strategies.

  • Business Statistics

This module provides students with an understanding of the data and its relevance in business and develops an understanding of the quantitative techniques from statistics. Students are aimed to develop the ability to interpret the numerical information that forms the basis of decision-making in a business context.

  • Supply Chain Management

This module provides basic knowledge of the operations of organizations using global supply chain management techniques. Topics covered include applying supply chain drivers and models to achieve supply chain peak performance and facility to improve supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.

  • Warehouse Operations & Management

The module is designed with a good blending of theory and industry practice for effective roles as Buyer, Material Planner, Distribution and Freight Forwarders, Warehouse Management Coordinators or Project Planners, and Coordinators.

Entry Requirements

Students need to meet at least one of the following academic requirements:

1)Obtained at least 5 GCE O level passes or high school

2) Having a minimum of 9 years of formal education with at least 5 years of working experience will be considered on a case by case basis.

3) If the student doesn’t have the above qualifications, he/she must complete and obtain the Certificate in Business Fundamentals of Chasewells Management College.

Age Level

Candidates must be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of application.

Language Requirements

Students need to meet at least one of the following language requirements:

  • English proficiency may not be required if the applicant possesses the highest qualification where English was the sole medium of instruction

  • Students should have at least an English competency of IELTS 4.5 or a pass in GCE ‘O’ Level English or equivalent;

  • Pass the English language placement test in Chasewells Management College.

Course Duration: 6 months

Course Mode: Part-Time

Assessment:

Students are assessed on a major assignment, class attendance, and written examination. Students are requested to pass a minimum score of 50% from the overall assessment of each module.

Academic Award

Students must pass all modules to complete the course successfully and to be awarded a Diploma in Digital Marketing by Chasewells Management College.
