OTHM LEVEL 7 DIPLOMA IN STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP

Learning Objectives

The objective of the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership qualification is to develop strategic management and leadership skills for managers who have the authority and personal attributes to translate organizational strategy into effective operational.

Mature learners with a background in academic study or industry are suitable for this program. The qualification has a clear work-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside theoretical fundamentals. As this qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) in UK, successfully completing the course (120 credits) learners are eligible to progress into or within employment or progress to the dissertation stage (60 credits) with university to achieve a full Master’s degree from UK university.

The programme consists of 2 stages.

Stage 1: leads to the award of Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership

Assessment: The assessment is done via submission of assignment. There are no written exams.

Language Requirements

21 years or older, or mature learners 

 

Learners must process any of the requirements below:

1. An honours degree in related subject or UK Level 6 Diploma;

2. An equivalent overseas qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in any field;

3. Mature candidates of a minimum of 30 years old and who have at least 8 years of working experience (including at least 3 years of management experience) can be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 

Applicant must meet any of the language requirements below:

1. Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2

2. Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 51

3. IELTS 5.5; Reading and Writing must be at least 5.5

4. Pass Chasewells Management College’s Placement Test with a minimum 50% achievement of the test

 

Awarding Body:

Stage 1 (Delivered by Chasewells Management College):

This stage leads to the award of the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership by OTHM Qualification. Credits earned at this stage – 120 credits

Stage 2 (Delivered by the University/awarding body):

On completion of the diploma program, you progress / Top up with a Degree through a UK University for progression to the MBA degree. Stage 2 is delivered via distance learning by faculties from the University/awarding body. Credits earned at this stage – 60 credits.
