Certificate In General English (Upper-Intermediate)
Introduction
The Upper-Intermediate English is designed for students with an intermediate level of English looking to reach a higher intermediate level. Learning objectives are designed with the more technical aspects of the language which are intended to give a student with a superior foundation in English nearly native fluency in English and the standard level of English for academic purposes. Upon completion, students can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization; Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party; Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue.
Assessment:
Students will be assessed by a combination of class attendance and examinations

Pass a minimum score of 50% in the Internal Placement Test, or Pass in Certificate in General English (Intermediate) in Chasewells Management College
